In-house Softball

PRE-K and Kindergarten


We are excited to see your girls tonight for clinic! The weather is going to be great. Thank you for your patience as details have all been worked out.

LOCATION – Diamond Path Elementary – Field is located directly behind the school. If you park in the school lot, you can walk around the path on the South side of the buiding. Otherwise, park along the road by the playground and use caution when crossing.

TIME: 6-7:15 pm

Uniforms: A table will be set up for uniform pickup. Have the girls wear something they can put their jersey over. Please bring the old style of shorts tonight if you have picked them up already.

Groups: There will be a poster board next to the uniform table with the group numbers and girls in each group. Please remember your childs group number after tonight.

COACHES: You will move along the stations with your childs group and coach at every station. Binders with a game plan will be ready at each station.

STATIONS: Stations have been developed to maximize time and teach the sport to your girls. Please stay and watch along either bench side line.

Rosemount Area Athletic Association in-house softball is a volunteer non-profit organization committed to providing all girls in our community with an experience that promotes positive self esteem, team spirit, and individual growth.

RAAA in-house softball players can join the fun starting in pre-k/kindergarten through grade 5. Preschoolers must be 5 years old on 9/1/2017 and attending Kindergarten Fall 2017. Register for current grade level (2016/17 school year).

Girls will be combined to play in 3 groups:

  • Ferns: Pre-K and Kindergarten | Wednesdays | May 31st- June 28th
  • Jades: 1st and 2nd grades | Tuesdays and Thursdays | May 1st-June 30th
  • Emeralds: 3rd and 4th grades | Mondays and Wednesdays | May 1st- June 30th

***NEW!!***Shamrocks: 5th grade and up | Tuesdays and Thursdays | Shamrocks will be a part of the South Metro Slowpitch League. 

Practice starts May 2nd. See Shamrock Page for all important information regarding this program.

Games and practices will begin at 6 or 7:15pm hosted at fields within the Rosemount community.

Parent Meeting will be on April 27th at 7 pm in the Rosemount Community Center Auditorium.

Kick off event April 30th

Season starts on May 1st for girls 1st grade and up. Season starts May 31st for pre-k and kindergarten.

Age Requirements

Must be entering Kindergarten in Fall 2017.


RAAA in-house softball will provide the following:

  • Batting Helmets
  • Bats
  • Balls
  • Catchers Gear
  • Team Uniform

We ask that the players bring their own glove and tennis shoes or cleats.

Volunteer Opportunities

Parents: We need YOU!!

We need positive coaches to help teach the young girls of our community the basics of the game along while having fun and making new friends.  We need your help to make softball successful players.

We will provide everything you need to ensure a fun and successful season.

There are several opportunities to serve on the community in-house softball board.  Commitment is typically only 1-2 nights a month with more time needed during March -May.  Currently seeking:

  • Equipment Manager
  • Fields
  • Uniforms

Shamrocks – $90
