In-house Softball

Rosemount Area Athletic Association in-house softball is a volunteer non-profit organization committed to providing all girls in our community with an experience that promotes positive self-esteem, team spirit, and individual growth.

RAAA in-house softball players can join the fun starting in pre-k/kindergarten through grade 5. Preschoolers must be 5 years old on 9/1/2018 and attending Kindergarten Fall 2017. Register for current grade level (2017/18 school year).

Girls will be combined to play in 3 groups:

  • Ferns: Pre-K and Kindergarten | Wednesdays | May 30th- June 27th
  • Jades: 1st and 2nd grades | Tuesdays and Thursdays | May 1st-June 28th
  • Emeralds: 3rd and 4th grades | Mondays and Wednesdays | May 1st- June 27th

***NEW!!***Shamrocks: 5th grade and up | Tuesdays and Thursdays | Shamrocks will be a part of the South Metro Slowpitch League. 

Practice starts May 2nd. See Shamrock Page for all important information regarding this program.

Games and practices will begin at 6 or 7:15pm hosted at fields within the Rosemount community.

Parent Meeting will be TBD at 7 pm in the Rosemount Community Center Auditorium.

Season starts on May 1st for girls 1st grade and up. Season starts May 31st for pre-k and kindergarten.

Age Requirements

Must be entering Kindergarten in Fall 2018.


RAAA in-house softball will provide the following:

  • Batting Helmets
  • Bats
  • Balls
  • Catchers Gear
  • Team Uniform

We ask that the players bring their own glove and tennis shoes or cleats.

Volunteer Opportunities

Parents: We need YOU!!

We need positive coaches to help teach the young girls of our community the basics of the game along while having fun and making new friends.  We need your help to make softball successful players.

We will provide everything you need to ensure a fun and successful season.

There are several opportunities to serve on the community in-house softball board.  Commitment is typically only 1-2 nights a month with more time needed during March -May.  Currently seeking:

  • Communications
  • Coaches Development

Emeralds and Jades – $75

Shamrocks – $185
