New Information for Fall 2012!
Wanted!! Are you looking to be more involved in Rosemount Volleyball? We are looking for Inhouse Age Group Coordinators to help with team set up, scheduling, uniforms and general communication throug out the season. If intersted contact Lisa Slinde slindelisa3@gmail.com
Once again this year, one of the head coaches from the high school will run the first practice so anyone interested in coaching will have their first practice run for them with an outline and drills for future practices. Please consider helping out!!!
The main goal is to create an enjoyable, memorable experience for boys and girls providing instructional guidance at a beginning to intermediate level in the fundamentals of volleyball.

| Season | Season will run from the week of September 10th – late October. Practices and games will be Monday – Thursday evenings and vary by week due to high gym space demand in district 196. |
| Eligibility | Boys and Girls Grades 3rd to 6th Grade is determined as of upcoming school year. |
| Age Groups | 5th/6th Grade & 3rd/4th grade |
| Equipment | Knee pads optional. |
People Involved
Volunteers keep our RAAA Volleyball program running successfully:
Program Director
Coordinates the entire program, monitoring registrations and recruiting volunteers for the various positions within the program. Provides information about the Volleyball program on the RAAA website and coordinates master game and practice schedules.
Age Group Coordinators – New in 2012!!!
Assist program director with team set up, scheduling, uniforms and team communication during the season. Must be good with excel and using email to communicate with parents, coaches and people within the Rosemount Volleyball Community. Knowledge of volleyball and the program is also helpful.
Coaches
All parents or adults who volunteer to coach will have the opportunity to attend a coaches clinic plus have the Program Director lead their team through the first practice.
Head Coaches
Manage a team once teams are created, lead games and practices
Assistant Coaches
Assist Head Coach in managing teams in games and practices
Team Creation
Teams are created by grade based on number of participants. The opportunity to participate in In-House Volleyball is available to all who sign up. No tryouts are required.
We have teams of 3rd/4th graders who will play each other and teams of 5th/6th graders who will play each other. Players will be called with team assignments in early September.
