People Involved
Volunteers keep our RAAA Tennis program running successfully:
Program Director Coordinates the entire program, monitoring registrations and recruiting volunteers for the various positions within the program. Provides information about the Tennis program on the RAAA website and coordinates master game and practice schedules.

This Sport’s Details
Season: Begin May 7th thru June 28th
Eligibility: Grades K – 7 (Must be a minimum of 5 years old AND currently attending Kindergarten)
Equipment: Tennis Racket and Tennis Shoes (no sandals please)

Team Creation
In-house tennis is made up of 3 levels beginner (K – 1st), intermediate (2nd – 3rd) and advanced (4th – 6th). Coaches decide which level is appropriate for the kids during the first week of practices. Your child may be switched from one group to another based on their skills, but the date/time/location of the practices will not change. All player moves will be made after the first week with the player/parent approval.
Practice Schedules
All practices and games will be played at the Rosemount High School tennis courts. The season runs from May 7th through June 28th. Practice times are Monday through Thursday 6:30pm – 7:30pm. Participants can choose to practice either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday session. Please be sure to specify your preference under special requests during registration.
Match Play
Match play is optional Saturday mornings for players in the intermediate and advanced groups. Advanced players are 8:30am – 9:45am, intermediate players will follow at 9:45am – 10:45am Saturday mornings.
Tournament
The season ending tournament is also optional for the intermediate and advanced players. Date is June 30th. Start times for both intermediate and advanced players will be 8:30 am – 2 pm. Brackets and seeding will be determined based on Saturday match play.
