This Sport’s Details

| Fees | Approximately $50 – $75. Actual fees will be presented during registrations. |

| Eligibility | Girls Grades K to 5 |
| Days | K/1 play T/TH, 2/3 play M/W, 4/5 play 2 nights M-TH |
| Equipment | Bases, bats, balls, batting helmets and catcher gear is provided. Optional, players can purchase and use their own bats or catcher gear. |
| Instructional Equipment | Grades K – 1 will be using a tee Grades 2 – 3 will be using a pitching machine Grades 4/5 is girl pitch |
| Competition | Grades K – 1 will participate in games with other grade K – 1 teams from Rosemount Grades 2 – 3 will participate in games with other grade 2 – 3 teams from Rosemount Grades 4 – 5 will participate in games with other grade 4 – 5 teams from Rosemount and Eastview Teams may compete with local teams in neighboring communities. |

Volunteers keep our RAAA Softball program running successfully!
| Role | Responsibilities |
| Co-Director | Monitoring registrations and recruiting volunteers for the various positions within the program. Coordinates master game and practice schedules. |
| Age Group Coordinators | Assist Program Director in coordinating team creation and communication. Help at registrations, creates teams, assigns coaches, contacts coaches. |
| Head Coaches | Manage a team once teams are created, lead games and practices |
| Assistant Coaches | Assist Head Coach in managing teams in games and practices |
| Program Director | Coordinates the entire program, monitoring registrations and recruiting volunteers for the various positions within the program. Provides information about the Baseball program on the RAAA website and coordinates master game and practice schedules. |
Rules and Regulations
RAAA provides access to the Softball rules for each age group online for reference.
Please be sure to print out a copy of the Softball rules for your child’s age group. You will find a lot of useful information and guidelines covering your child’s Softball experience.

Team Creation
Teams are created by grade based on number of participants. The opportunity to participate in In-House Softball is available to all who sign up. No tryouts are required.
If you signup online please contact the Program Director if you are interested in being a coach.

Softball games and practices are located at schools and fields within the 196 School District and surrounding areas. See the Directory page for field information.
